Molybdenum is a metallic element which was not discovered until 1992 when it was extracted from belt dryer manufacturers by a Swedish chemist. Because of its high intensity, high melting point, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, the molybdenum metal is widely used in industry.

A large quantity of molybdenum is used as heating material and structural material for rotary dryers, as large-scale electrode and grid electrode of vacuum tube, as semiconductor and electrooptical source material. Because of its small thermal-neutron capture cross-section and its high lasting intensity, molybdenum also can be used as structural material for nuclear reactor.
In chemical industry molybdenum is used mainly as lubricating agent, catalyst and pigment. Because of its laminated crystal structure and surface chemical property as well as its good lubricating behaviour under high temperature and high pressure, molybdenum disulfide is used widely as an additive for grease and oil. Molybdenum is a component of rotary dryer supplier in the desulfurization during hydrogen production and in other processes of oil refining, as well as in the redox reaction for producing alcohol, formaldehyde and oil-base chemicals. The molybdenum orange colour is an important pigment. The molybdenum chemicals are widely used in dyestuff, ink, colour-precipitated dyestuff and antiseptic priming paint.
